Postpartum doesn't have to be hard, sleepless, or isolating.
You Deserve Rest & Care.
Imagine laying with your new baby while I make you a nourishing meal, wash the dishes, wipe down the counters, and fold the laundry. I draw you an herbal foot soak and as your baby sleeps peacefully on your chest and the smell of lavender envelops us, you share your birth story the way you want to, full of highs and lows and everything in between. I draw you and baby a bath (or hold baby while you soak in one), and when you emerge clean and rested I offer a womb massage and belly bind. Done for the day, I refill the midnight snack basket beside your bed, start another load of laundry, refill your water, and head out. You are relishing in the tranquility of a clean home and your little one, zero worries on your mind.
Blissful Postpartum Care
It is my mission to offer you as much calm as possible during the tender and sacred postpartum phase. With a mix of practical and pampering acts, I promise to relieve any stress the day may hold. As a mother and birth doula experienced in the emotions and needs of postpartum, I am attuned to what momma and baby require to rest and relax. I will open the door with "are you hungry?" and ask what your priority is for the day so I can best serve your unique needs.
Here for You
Breastfeeding questions? Vacuuming? Meal prepping? Birth debriefing? Baby soothing? Belly binding? Sitz bath prep? You name it, I will make it happen! I am here to be the nourishing aide and postpartum balm, to bring safety and wonder back into the postpartum time.
2 hours? 2 Weeks? Let's make it work!
Packages Unique to Your Needs
I highly recommend the most rest to occur during the fourth trimester, or the first three months after birth. How much care you want is totally unique to your needs. Maybe you live far from family and really want the presence of a loving sister to cook you food and clean the house. Perhaps your mom came to stay for 2 weeks and you realized the help she gave was priceless, and you are seeking a postpartum doula to fill in after her. Maybe you have a toddler too and want to reserve all your focus on their special new bond, and want someone in the background taking care of practical matters. Maybe you want someone more attuned to the spirituality birth holds and want belly binding, meditations, herbal baths, and more. Whatever the need, we can create a custom care plan that is specific to you!
In general, I charge $130 for 2-hours, and that price includes a ready made meal. This way, I can walk in the door and dish up your food right away instead of spending our time together huddled in the kitchen. I can certainly cook more while there if desired, but one of my main prerogatives is making sure momma is fed so that she can emotional regulate and successfully breastfeed (if wished), and I find that when it is pre-made and I can set momma up with her meal while I do another task, the peace settles in instantly.
